India is the second largest onion growing country in the world. Indian onions are famous for their pungency and are available round the year. Indian onions has two crop cycles, first harvesting starts in Novemer to January and the second harvesting from January to May.
The Major Onion producing states area Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Tamilnadu and Telangana. Maharashtra ranks first in Onion production with a share of 28.32%.
There is a lot of demand of Indian Onions in the world, the country exported 15,88,985 MT of fresh onions to world for the worth of Rs.3088 crores during the year 2018-2019
We have modern facilities for Sorting, grading and packing of the onions.
These onions are most consumed and exported to all parts of the Asian countries; we procure, sort and repack the onions as per the requirement of the buyers. The normal packing
We export these onions to countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Brunei. The packing are done in Bamboo Baskets and PP Mesh bags as per the buyers requirements, in 5 kgs, 6 Kgs, 7 Kgs, 8 Kgs and 10 Kgs packing. This onions are available between March and January. These onions have a longer shelf life comparing to all the other onions available in India.
Krishnapuram Rose onions are an alternative to Bangalore Rose Onions. We export these onions to countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Brunei. The packing are done in Bamboo Baskets and PP Mesh bags as per the buyers requirements, in 5 kgs, 6 Kgs, 7 Kgs, 8 Kgs and 10 Kgs packing. These onions are available between Febraury till April.
This variety of onions are small in size and consumed by the people of Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. Pickle Onions are meant for its spicy flavour and shelf life. The packing is done mostly in PP Mesh bags 10 Kgs and shipped only by reefer containers.
These varieties are available round the year and exported as when the demand arises in lieu of the Sambar onions.
Sambar Onions are exported to Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia for the consumption mainly Indians in these regions. Packing of these onions is also PP Mesh Bags and shipped on reefer containers.
